Arcotherm (UK) Ltd – Champions of Enterprise 2005
As part of Arcotherm’s management buy out back in 2004, the directors received some much needed assistance from the Mustard Programme, and were therefore delighted to be one of the recipients of their “Champions of Enterprise” Awards in 2005.
Mustard.uk.com is a unique private / public sector collaboration managed by Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry and delivered by the region’s Business Links and leading private sector consultancies. The initiative was developed in collaboration with, amongst others, 3i’s, Hammonds, UCE and Ernst and Young, and is funded by Advantage West Midlands, The European Regional Development Fund and the Business Links in the West Midlands.
The new Mustard.uk.com ‘Champions of Enterprise’ was launched at Coventry City’s prestigious Ricoh Stadium, where 25 of the West Midlands’ most talented entrepreneurs, from a variety of traditional and emerging industries, collected their special awards at the high profile event and made a strong commitment to showcasing the enterprising nature of the region.
Arcotherm worked closely with Moore Stephens, their chosen Mustard consultant, to develop marketing strategies, website presence, and budget forecasts; all of which have been essential to Arcotherm’s continued growth programme over the last two years.
Said Linda Hazlehurst, Arcotherm’s Finance Director, “We believe that winning the “Champions of Enterprise” Award 2005 is recognition for the hard work put in by the whole team; the dedication and commitment of everyone involved has been inspirational, and has given us the confidence to take the business to the next level”.
